Magdalena is the ESG Director at Icon Strategies.

She is responsible for supporting clients in developing strategic approaches to sustainability. She oversees the creation of ESG reports and their effective communication – both within organizations and externally – ensuring that ESG initiatives support business objectives and enhance the company’s value.

Throughout her 20-year career, Magdalena has had the opportunity to work on ESG strategies for companies such as InPost, Innova Capital, Żabka Polska, Bielenda, Echo Investment Group, Archicom Group, InterCars, ING, GSK, Fortum, TAURON, PGNiG, and ArcelorMittal, assisting them in implementing sustainable practices and developing responsible business strategies.

She has gained experience working for some of the largest consulting firms. She worked at PwC and later at Deloitte, where she was a Manager in the Sustainability Consulting team for Central Europe, responsible for developing advisory services for both the private and public sectors. She managed projects focused on developing responsible business strategies and creating non-financial reports in accordance with the international GRI standard.

For several years, Magdalena was professionally associated with the Tauron Group, where as the Manager of New Product Development (Research and Development), she was responsible for the development of new products, business models, and technologies supporting customer service. She collaborated with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) to explore opportunities for diversifying products and services in the energy sales sector.

Magdalena has also lectured at the Wyższa Szkoła Europejska im. ks. Józefa Tischnera and the Leon Koźmiński Academy in Warsaw, where she shared her knowledge and experience with future leaders of sustainable development.

Magdalena is the author of numerous publications on sustainability, which have been featured in national and industry-specific titles.
