TMF Group is a leading provider of critical administrative services, employing 10,000 experts across 125 offices in 87 jurisdictions worldwide. It works with 60% of companies listed on the Fortune Global 500 and FTSE 100, as well as nearly half of the 300 largest private equity firms. In Poland, TMF Group operates two offices with over 1,000 experts, serving more than 800 clients in areas such as payroll, HR, tax, and accounting services.
Icon Strategies has collaborated with TMF Group in Poland for over seven years, aiming to enhance the brand’s visibility among potential clients—medium-sized and large enterprises. A specific objective was to position TMF Group as a leader in tax and accounting expertise within Polish business and economic media.
Recognising the dynamic nature of tax and accounting regulations in Poland, Icon Strategies proposed a solution that would appeal both to potential clients and business journalists. They developed a quarterly report, the TMF Group Barometer, highlighting key regulatory changes that could positively or negatively affect businesses.
The barometer was crafted by a team of TMF Group’s tax and accounting experts, complemented by input from payroll, legal, and HR specialists. Icon Strategies coordinated this team, editing the content, and producing the report in a format consistent with TMF Group’s global branding. Key elements included:
The first four editions of the TMF Group Barometer generated over 1,000 media publicationsacross business, economic, and general-interest outlets. The initiative successfully positioned TMF Group as a trusted authority in tax and accounting. Additionally, it enhanced the expert profiles of the TMF Group team members involved in developing the barometer.
This project exemplifies how a well-structured communication strategy can boost brand recognition and thought leadership in a competitive market.
